Once the surging phenomenon occurs in the operation of the centrifugal compressor, the operation of the unit and the pipe network has the following characteristics: 1) The outlet pressure and inlet flow of the gas medium vary greatly, and sometimes gas reflux may occur. The gaseous medium is transferred from the compressor to the inflow inlet, which is a dangerous situation. 2) The pipe network vibrates periodically, with large amplitude and low frequency, accompanied by periodic "roar". 3) The compressor body vibrates strongly, the shell and the bearing both vibrate strongly, and emit strong periodic airflow sound. Due to strong vibration, the lubrication state of the bearing will be destroyed, the bearing pad will burn out, and the shaft will even be twisted, the rotor and the stator will rub and collide, and the sealing element will be severely damaged.
